Ananda College is proud to announce the inauguration of a state-of-the-art Information and Communication Technology (ICT) lab, generously donated by the Association of Old Anandians in the United Kingdom. This modern facility, valued at 9 million rupees, marks a significant enhancement to the college’s technological infrastructure, offering students advanced resources to support their education in the digital age.
The official opening ceremony was graced by the Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Professor Sampath Amaratunga. In his address, Professor Amaratunga emphasized the importance of equipping students with modern technological skills to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving global landscape.
The new ICT lab is outfitted with the latest computers, high-speed internet access, and various educational software, providing an ideal environment for students to engage in digital learning, research, and innovation. This facility is expected to play a crucial role in fostering a culture of technological proficiency and creativity among Ananda College students.
