Ananda College Inter-House Sam Chandrasinghe Challenge Trophy Soccer Tournament

The prestigious Sam Chandrasinghe Challenge Trophy Soccer Tournament was recently held at the Ananda College sports complex at Rajagiriya. The event aimed at fostering the football talent within the school, with matches conducted across five age groups.

More than 150 students participated in the tournament, making it a grand success. Each participant was honored with a medal and certificate, making the occasion even more special.

The tournament was generously sponsored by renowned British businessman and proud Anandian, Mr. Sam Chandrasinghe. The Ashoka and Parakrama Houses emerged as joint champions of the inter-house football tournament. The champions received the coveted trophy from Mr. Sam Chandrasinghe himself, in a heartwarming moment captured in photographs.

Among the esteemed attendees were Ananda College Principal, Mr. Lal Dissanayake, and the Chairman of the Old Anandian Football Association, Mr. Tilak de Silva.
