Ananda College Colors Nite 2023: Celebrating Sporting Excellence

Ananda College, Colombo, proudly hosted Colors Nite 2023 on the evening of November 19th at the Kularatne Hall. This grand event recognized and honored the exceptional athletes who brought national-level glory to the school through their outstanding performances in sports throughout the year.

Under the leadership of Principal Mr. D.M.L.P. Dissanayake, the evening unfolded with elegance and pride. The event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Air Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa, Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force, and Special Guest Professor Chathuranga Ranasinghe, a distinguished alumnus and prominent figure of the Ananda Air Force community.

A highlight of the night was the presentation of awards to a large number of young Anandians for their exceptional sporting achievements. The prestigious Anadha Padma Award for Outstanding Sportsman of the Year was presented to the talented master Ruvishan Perera, marking a moment of pride and inspiration for the Ananda College community.
