Ananda College U-18 Baseball Team Crowned Runners-Up at All Island Tournament 2025

We are proud to announce that the Ananda College Under-18 Baseball Team emerged as the Runners-Up in the 2025 All lsland Under-18 Baseball Championship, showcasing exceptional teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the tournament.

The championship was held on May 30, 31 and June 1, 3 at Sampathnuwara National School Grounds in Welioya, where top school teams from across the island competed fiercely for the title

Among the standout performances, W.G. Tharul Mesandu of Ananda College shone brightly, securing two prestigious individual awards:

Best Pitcher of the Tournament
Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Tournament
